The Agency engaged the RDICC from Muranga and Kiambu Counties to discuss project coordination and implementation of water and sanitation infrastructure projects.

AWWDA is implementing flagship projects under implementation in Kiambu and Muranga counties including the Northern Collector Tunnel, Karimenu II Dam and Ruiru II Dam as we well as other strategic projects in Kiambu, Ruaka, Limuru, Kikuyu, Gatundu, Ruiru, Makutano and Kenol Towns.

Speaking while opening the consultative meeting, the Central Regional Coordinator Ms. Esther Maina said that the RDICC was formed to foster greater coordination and harmonization during implementation of government projects.

During the meeting, the RDICC and AWWDA team deliberated on the challenges facing project implementation and actions to fastrack progress.
